I Speak what the Father Says

Jesus has raised Lazarus from the dead. Jesus has been anointed by Mary Lazarus’s sister with expensive perfume. Judas has already sought out the way to betray Jesus. Jesus has ridden in to Jerusalem on a mule, a large crowd was gathered and in the midst of this the Greeks sought to know Jesus and thereby signaling to Jesus that His hour approaches. Jesus declares this, the old enemy, the devil is told that his time is now short. Jesus expresses how He is to die and this crowd having to deal with the Christ declaring His death which is different from what they have been taught and believe. We saw that God knew this was going to happen, God knew the conditions of their hearts, He knew who’s approval they sought. We are at the place where Jesus calls out to the crowd one last time, He identifies with the Father and calls on people to believe His word.
