Debra Coker Lucas (Debbie)
Church Secretary/ Treasurer
Debbie was saved at the age of 7 years old in a Christian home. She was never sent to church, she was always taken to church. She is one of 5 children that were all raised in Oak Hill Baptist as well as numerous cousins and friends. Debbie is married to her soulmate Jeff Lucas and has 2 children. Debbie's mother Faye Coker passed away in 2021, leaving Debbie as the last Coker still actively attending Oak Hill.
The Coker family has a long history in Oak Hill Baptist, going all the way back to the beginning in 1882, Debbie's great, great grandfather Bryant Coker was a charter member and helped establish this church. Sears Coker, his son, was a deacon and music leader, his son Bryant was a deacon, and Debbie's father Corwin "Corky" Coker took over the music ministry from his grandfather and served in that position for 60 years.
God has truly blessed Oak Hill in its 140 years and continues to bless it daily.
