Martha and Jesus at the Tomb

Today we continue with the study of Lazarus and the tomb. We have noticed already that Jesus decided to wait two extra days so those disciples that were on the fence of believing would have the opportunity to make up their minds. Jesus also chose to wait because this entire event was meant to bring honor and glory to God. We saw how Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus and the human side of His caring was evident. As we go through this passage today we will discover Lazarus already buried, but there is a whole lot to be discovered and understood. It will be our job today to listen to God’s Word and ask ourselves do we believe what the Bible is clearly showing us?
