The Final Gift before Betrayal

The events we have been studying have been building to a final event. All the actors are getting into place, all the arrangements are finalized, there are just a few more items and everything will be set for the final act. On one side of the stage the ancient enemy lies in wait, since the fall of Adam he has been waiting to bruise the heel of the One promised. His plan is to more than bruise His heel but to destroy Him. Tempting Him in the desert did not work, stirring up His own people against Him did not make Him quit, so now he was going to destroy Him physically. He cannot save people dead and his pawn sits on the left side of Jesus and its almost time for the curtain call.

On the other side of the stage the Father patiently waits, He knows all that is about to transpire, He knows all that the enemy has planned, however He wants to give His Son’s friend one more chance before the final decision is made. Everything is in place, the great rescue plan is set. The enemy does not know his plans were to be used to bring about the ultimate rescue, because the Father uses all happenings to bring about good in the end.
