Sir We would See Jesus

Lazarus has been raised from the dead, some people were amazed and followed Jesus, others shocked and reported Jesus to the religious leaders. The religious leaders come together in deciding Jesus must die and start seeking a way to get this done. Jesus withdraws from public view during this time and stays in a remote village with His disciples. Then the Passover celebration is about to happen, Jesus makes His way back to Bethany, has a dinner with Lazarus, Martha, and Mary who anoints Him with nard (a perfume), a large crowd gathers to witness the healed and healer. Judas leaves the group to secure his way of betraying Jesus. The next day Jesus leaves Bethany to enter into Jerusalem, the large crowd that gathered at Bethany follows and the crowd swells in size as He approaches Jerusalem. The religious leaders are upset because of His huge popularity, for how many people are turning away from their leadership and following Him. However, many still question is this the Christ, the Messiah and this is where we find ourselves today.

Today we look into that well know passage where the Greeks seek Jesus. There is a lot going on in this passage and as we dig into its depths we will find the nuggets that God will reveal to us and prick our hearts to change.
