The Covenant with Abraham

Genesis 15 is all about the covenant that God makes with Abram about his descendants. God has already spoken a word of Abrams future nation in chapter 12 but that was a nation of faith through the blessing of the line of Abraham. This covenant is specifically for the descendants of Abram and the promises of God to be fulfilled. This passage will also show a different way God speaks to Abram, in this way is most common for how God spoke to the prophets throughout the Old Testament.
