Encouragement part 4
We are on our fourth week of encouragement studies. The first in our series was from 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, we studied about the times and seasons, from darkness to light. That as for Christians we can find comfort in the fact that no matter the season or times we are in, we always have the light with us and no amount of darkness can overcome that. We also studied how Jesus is that light and that light is life through Jesus and the price that He paid.
Secondly, we studied Isaiah 40:31, we learned that wait really meant to hope in the Lord. We learned that when we rest in the Lord and hope/wait on His provision, we are able to live in peace and have comfort no matter the darkness that would seem to overcome us.
Third we studied Isaiah 43:2, about no matter the situation that God is with us, and the example that is being used are from major points in the history of Israel in the parting of the Red Sea, the parting of the River Jordan in flood stage, and the fiery furnace.
Tonight, we focus in on some very special verses that not only show us we are not alone, and that God is with us, but also the command of action so that we can see God’s deliverance.
